BEST USE OF MEDIA

This category is specifically for those agencies and businesses to enter who have carried out a comprehensive search campaign. Enter if you have completed, or are in the process of carrying out, a search marketing campaign which encompasses elements such as SEO and PPC (video and display are not included). Entries should be able to justify why they used search marketing and the particular elements employed and should demonstrate the effectiveness of their campaign in accessing their target audiences and generating business. Entries must solely include the search marketing elements of their campaign, as other marketing strategies will not be considered in this category.

Your application should include one or any of the following platforms:
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok

This category is open to entries for any social media campaign with a strong set of objectives and outcomes. Entries should demonstrate how they delivered their strategy across the social tools available to them, including social ads, video and use of innovative tools and techniques. Submissions should include quantitative and qualitative results for the campaign, including performance against the project KPI’s. Judges will be looking for campaigns that have the most clearly communicated set of objectives and results that support the performance or the event.

This award recognises the most effective SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies that improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic. Judges will be looking for evidence of innovation in SEO techniques, such as the implementation of advanced on-page optimisation or creative link-building strategies. The winning entry will demonstrate a significant improvement in search engine rankings and organic website traffic, showcasing a clear understanding of search engine algorithms and best practices. This could include a campaign that focuses on improving Core Web Vitals to enhance user experience and boost organic rankings.

This award celebrates impactful display advertising campaigns that achieve outstanding reach, engagement, and ROI. Judges will be looking for campaigns that utilise creative and effective display ad formats, such as interactive rich media or engaging video ads.

This award recognises excellence in content and native advertising campaigns that engage audiences and drive results. Judges will be looking for campaigns that feature high-quality, original content that resonates with the target audience.

This category is open to any type of campaign, advertisement or promotion that features video. The video must be created through digital techniques and/or delivered via a digital medium. Judges will consider such elements as: narrative, character development, technical ability, innovation, creativity, and overall aesthetic. Entries must demonstrate the effectiveness of using this particular genre in advertising/marketing/ communicating a brand, product, or service. Entries should also demonstrate exceptional creativity and originality.

The best OOH ( Out of Home ) digital campaign created by an agency, business, or organisation will be recognised by this award. Enter if you have created an OOH digital campaign that demonstrates best practice, innovation and excellence in promoting, advertising, communicating or marketing a brand, product or service. Entries should be able to demonstrate efficiencies and effectiveness of their campaign in delivering against the campaign KPI’s, the impact with real time messaging and/or how they integrate other digital platforms such as; mobile, social, web, etc.

The Best Use of Digital Audio category celebrates outstanding audio storytelling, compelling content, and exceptional production quality in the world of podcasting. This award recognises podcasts that captivate their audience through engaging narratives, insightful discussions, and innovative presentation. Whether it’s investigative journalism, thought-provoking interviews, or entertaining storytelling, this category honours those who push the boundaries of audio content.

BEST USE OF TECHNOLOGY, PLATFORM & STRATEGY

This category recognises app developers who showcase their innovation in creating top tier apps. The judges will be putting a special focus on user interaction and interface, design and layout, usability, audience size, functionality and intuitiveness. Wearable and virtual reality apps will be accepted and considered along with all mobile platforms.

This category recognises excellence in the development of websites and microsites. Judges will be rewarding entries based on the functionality of the site, the overall structure and navigation, the UX and UI design, use of content and the positive results directly related to the overall user experience.

This category recognises a campaign or strategy that was implemented in order to improve performance against a set of established KPIs. Entrants should demonstrate how their conversion strategy drove an uplift in the campaign KPIs over time and/or demonstrated innovative optimisation tactics.

This award recognises outstanding brand-building strategies that enhance brand awareness, perception, and loyalty. Judges will be looking for strategies that demonstrate a clear and effective brand message, consistently communicated across all digital channels.

This award celebrates innovative and effective use of data and analytics to drive campaign performance and business results. Judges will be looking for entries that demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of data analysis and insights, and showcase how these insights have been applied to improve campaign performance.

This award recognises the company that has successfully implemented an AI-based solution in the field of digital marketing, resulting in significant business growth, improved customer experience, and better ROI.

This category is open to all charitable and non-profit organisations/foundations and governmental body or institution that utilise digital media channels. Entrants should demonstrate the success of a campaign in achieving a positive social impact or advocating for a particular social cause. Entrants can also demonstrate how their submission helped to improve the ability of a third sector project or organisation to achieve its objectives. The content of the submission should be detailed and of a high standard, as should the usability and design of the submission.

This category recognises campaigns in the retail & FMCG (Fast-moving consumer goods) industries that have created interactive media and digital content demonstrating best practice, innovation and excellence in promoting, advertising, communicating or marketing their product. Campaigns can use a range of platforms and formats (including but not limited to online advertising, search marketing, viral marketing, email marketing, text messaging campaigns, social media marketing and other media). Entries should be able to demonstrate the effectiveness of their campaign in generating business.

This award is open to digital, web design and development agencies that use both digital and traditional media channels.
Judges will evaluate portfolios of three clients based on the quality of work, deployed technologies, design standards, strategy and campaign development, and client return on investment. The ideal agency should effectively utilise digital and traditional media platforms to create excitement and inspiration.
