WINNERS ANNOUNCED AT THE 2018 ENERGIA DIGITAL MEDIA AWARDS
Good things always come in threes as was the case for Wolfgang Digital rewarded for the Best Search Campaign, Best Social Media and the most coveted prize of the night, Agency of the Year.
The Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, welcomed the best of Ireland’s digital media on Friday 16th February for the 2018 Energia Digital Media Awards. Hosted by Newstalk’s Tom Dunne, the awards were attended by more than 700 of Ireland’s digital industry.
The special award of the night, Energia Bright Spark went to Guinness Storehouse, Ireland’s number 1 visitor attraction, who also took home the Best in Travel & Tourism (sponsored by Hotel & Catering Review Magazine) for their Airbnb ‘Night At’ the Guinness Storehouse.
The big winner of the night was definitely Wolfgang Digital who were named Agency of the Year (sponsored by Lovin.ie); they also brought home the award for Best Search Campaign (sponsored by Kantar Media) and Best Social Media. Wolfgang Digital demonstrate their savoir-faire through inventions and incredible marketing for their Clients, DID Electrical and TESCO Ireland.
Teneo Digital won two prestigious prizes: Best Brand and Best Strategy both for AIG Ireland which marked their objectives achievement including their worldwide sponsorship with the legendary New Zealand All Blacks.
Best Collaborative Campaign (sponsored by Mirror Media) went to Starcom for their “AIB GAA & YouTube partnership”. “Race to 2050” by Thought Different Agency won the Best Technology Innovation Award (sponsored by Energia) and Vizeum took home the award for Best Data & Analytics (sponsored by Three).
Energia partnered with the Digital Media Awards for the first time as headline sponsor.
