Submission Process

In order to ensure the utmost objectivity and standardization of the submission and adjudication process, the Nokia Digital Media Awards 2012 have introduced a new entry process. Before you can submit an entry, you must indicate on the submission form that you have read and understand the new submission and adjudication process.

Each category now has a detailed outline of what the judges will be looking for: please do your utmost to fulfil the requirements laid out in the category description when entering the Awards, and read each section of the submission form carefully as we have 10 new categories this year, and our original category descriptions have been altered.

Each of our judges is assigned two categories that are within their specific area of expertise and experience. We ensure that there is no conflict of interest between any judges and the submissions they will grade, and the adjudication process is carried out with the utmost confidentiality and objectivity. The judges assess all the entries in their categories online through our secure adjudication system.

Each entry is rewarded a score that is directly related to the grading breakdown provided in that category’s detailed description. Each grade percentage is given a mark from 1 to 10, and the overall grade out of 40 determines the score for each entry, once grade breakdown percentages are taken into account. To view the grade percentages for each category, please click on the Categories button below. To view the Judges Scoring Sheet, with details on how each submission will be graded from 1 to 10, please click on the Judges Scoring button below.

Please note that those submissions that do not attempt to fulfill the requirements outlined within each category description will not be sent on to the judges until they are complete. A member of the Nokia DMA Event Team will contact all entrants whose submissions are incomplete to discuss their submission in advance of the adjudication period. It is very important to include as many details as possible, and to attempt to address each grading section in your submission.

If you have any queries regarding the new submission or adjudication process for the Nokia Digital Media Awards 2012, please contact the Event Manager, Madeleine Derer on 01 432 2250, or email her at madeleine.derer@ashville.com.
