Meet The Team

Tracey is Ashville Media’s Event Director, and she heads up the Digital Media Awards team!Tracey got her start in events after completing a degree in electronic engineering, and has worked in all elements of event management since. After working at Antrim Transformers as Engineer, Tracey took up the role of Production Manager at Sumo Multimedia.

Tracey then took over the Sales & Marketing Manager position at Conference Partners before coming to Ashville Media in 2009.

Tracey’s start at Ashville Media was in the role of Operations & Productions Manager, and she has produced the Digital Media Awards for three consecutive years. In addition to formulating the DMA’s annual theme and overall strategy, Tracey primarily manages the production and operations elements of the Awards.

Tracey also ensures all sponsors and media partners get the most out of their involvement in the DMA’s, and oversees the running of the DMA team. Tracey makes sure the Digital Media Awards is a truly memorable event each year!

This is Rebecca’s third Digital Media Awards to be involved in. A self-confessed nerd and digital fanatic, Rebecca has extensive online experience having worked in the sector both here in Ireland and in China.

Rebecca is responsible for securing sponsorship for the event as well as liaising with the team on communications and marketing strategies. Rebecca works with sponsors on an ongoing basis on how best to maximise the return on their investment and get the most from the event.

Originally from Canada, Madeleine moved to Ireland in 2009 to complete the Master of Arts in International Communications program at Dublin City University.Upon graduating, Madeleine joined the Event Division at Ashville Media, and now oversees many aspects of the Digital Media Awards.

Madeleine manages the DMA’s website & social media sites and the on/offline communications & marketing strategies.

She also assists with the production and design elements of the Awards.

Furthermore, Madeleine is involved in the formulation and implementation of the event’s annual theme & strategy, helps determine new categories, and keeps valued Sponsors, Judges and Entrants informed.

Jaan Karu is the web designer for the new Digital Media Awards website.Originally from Estonia, Jaan has been living and working in Ireland since 2004.

He completed the Advanced Diploma in Interactive Media from the Senior College, Dun Laoghaire, throughout which he primarily focused on content management systems, web design and development, digital imaging & publishing, and interactive programming & 3D.

Having completed a 9 month work experience term at Ashville Media, Jaan is currently working freelance and is looking for new clients.
